Local opticians, Jenifer Pfeiffer and Gina Roman, from Dr. Ezaki's practice, attended the opening release workshop on the newest Varilux WAVEfront technology in progressive lenses, Thursday, Feb. 23rd in Santa Rosa. The new progressive Varilux Physio, is the latest technology which eliminates surface aberrations on the lenses. The WAVEfront technology analyzes a greater portion of the light entering the lens at one time so distortions can be identified and eliminated. In essence, for the first time corrective surgery is being performed on a lens! The result is greater visual acuity for the progressive wearer. It is also making it easier for those who never liked progressive lenses before to feel totally comfortable with them.
